Frontend Developer

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-6 years experience working as a front-end developer with 3+ years of experience working on AEM projects using the latest Adobe archetypes, ui.frontend module, webpack.
• Proficient in CSS3, HTML5, SCSS, BEM, Webpack, JS.
• Experience with developing on AEM 6.5, AMS, AEMAACS SDKs
• Worked with AEM core components.
• Hands-on experience with using the AEM style system, creating client libraries, and creating templates and component policies in the AEM interface.
• Prior experience in collaborating with visual designers to understand and clarify requirements, showcasing user stories, and resolving design conflicts.
• Knowledge and application of strategies to optimize front-end for performance.
• Familiar with unit testing frameworks for front-end code.
• Familiar with AEM coral UI framework and customizing AEM touch UI, dialogs, plugins, etc
• Experience coding components using HTL, Sling models, OSGi, and authoring dialogs.
• Familiar with Apache rewrites and dispatcher configuration.
• Familiar with debugging using various log files in the webserver and AEM.
• Familiar with using various unix shell commands required to troubleshoot issues.
• Familiar with working in Scrum teams and using JIRA.

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an AEM Front-End Developer to join the team at one of our largest banking clients on a 6-month contract. The selected candidate will spend 70% of their day doing hands-on AEM front-end development and 30% of their time will be spent conducting code reviews and enforcing AEM standards. The chosen candidate will be working with the organization to re-vamp, re-design, and re-architecture their existing website.
