Job description

Location : Toronto

What You’ll Do

Build backend solutions using AWS Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CDK
Translate requirements into detailed designs and secure, high-performing code
Evaluate solution trade-offs and recommend optimal cloud architectures
Lead development initiatives and support business‑critical project deliverables
Collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical guidance
Continuously improve systems within an Agile environment

Must-Have Qualifications

5+ years hands‑on AWS experience

AWS CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, API Gateway, ECR, IAM, Security Groups

Experience leading technical development teams

Strong understanding of scalable, high‑volume, high‑availability cloud systems

Nice-to-Have

Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
