About The Opportunity

Direct and supervise technical personnel to obtain optimum efficiency and effectiveness of equipment, while maintaining a safe working environment and manage CMMS or EAM.

• Provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, including auditing, addressing unsafe behaviors and conditions, timely reporting of safety incidents and enforcing safety-related policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Maintenance and Mold Set‑up / Processing Technicians to prevent downtime and optimize machine, equipment and process efficiencies.
• Ensure Mold Set‑up / Processing Technicians conform to quality and customer expectations, meet cycle time, product weight, mold change requirements and troubleshoot processing and automation / robotics issues.
• Promote scrap reduction through process controls and eliminating poor mold conditions.
• Implement and set priorities for the preventive maintenance program, plan maintenance work, including time and resource estimates, part requisitions and schedules.
• Work with Maintenance & Mold Set‑up / Processing team regarding tasks specific to work orders, inventory, assets, projects and labor management.
• Liason with vendors and contractors and effectively manage EAM and all work requests.
• Develop and coach Maintenance and Mold Set‑up / Processing Technicians.
• Assist with the planning and scheduling efforts concerning major plant turn‑around and equipment overhauls.
• Meet with all shifts and maintain a high degree of plant floor visibility throughout the shifts.
• Facilitate and execute continuous improvement, SMED activities, including capital projects and major repairs.
• Conduct annual performance review of Maintenance and Mold Set‑up / Processing team members.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, automated and logistics equipment used in manufacturing, including its safe usage, maintenance, and storage.
• Knowledge of technologies and applications used in automation and robotics, manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations, and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of the employees, environment and site.
• Other duties as assigned.
