Job Summary

This position is accountable to and draws authority from the Site Superintendent (90%) and from the Project Manager (10%) regarding issues on quality, progress, safety, schedule, and other matters related to the below responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Superintendent with overall site management and execution of day‑to‑day site activities.
• Oversee and manage the general labour force and trade specific tasks.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure all employees and trades work in a safe manner, following Stonerise’s Safety program and relevant safety legislation and regulation.
• Liaise and maintain positive relationships with trade partners and suppliers.
• Monitor work to ensure it meets Stonerise’s standards and all building and safety code regulations.
• Ensure that required inspections with the building department, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction are scheduled and coordinated to maintain project deliverables.
• Complete required Quality Control / Quality Assurance inspections, assign deficiencies to trade contractors, and manage deficiency close‑out.
• Assist in monitoring the project progress and schedules.
• Complete regular progress reports, checklists, logbooks, and other required reports.

Working Conditions and Physical Abilities

Capable of working in physical positions that may include kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending over, etc.
