Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a General Labourer with experience for our Kitchener location. Under the supervision of the Yard Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
Properly weigh and track the material
Do general maintenance of the premises
Ensure the equipment in good condition
Data entry into the RECY system
Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
Help with torch cutting if necessary
Operate the crane as required
Work with a safety oriented mindset

Qualifications

Experience in operating a crane

Experience in metal recycling

Ability to work indoors / outdoors in all weather conditions

Good physical fitness

Ability to work as a team

Excellent attendance and safety record.

Additional Information

Additional Information :

Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD20 / hr, plus overtime after 44 hours.

Permanent and full-time position;

44 hours per week, including some rotating weekend work

Opportunity for overtime;
