In September 2022 Kitchener Power Corp. and Waterloo North Hydro Holding Corporation merged to become Enova Energy Corporation. The respective electricity distribution companies Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro Inc. and Waterloo North Hydro Inc. were also merged to become Enova Power Corp.

The Nominating Committee is seeking an individual who is interested in serving on the Board of Enova Energy Corporation as a director. Enova Energy Corporation is theHolding Company of the local distribution company Enova Power Corp. that services the City of Kitchener the City of Waterloo the Township of Woolwich the Township ofWilmot and the Township of Wellesley. Enova Energy Corporation also owns three non-regulated subsidiary companies namely Alliance Metering Solutions Inc. a submetering company Grand River Energy Solutions a renewable energy company and Enova Energy Services Inc. a streetlight maintenance company.

The Board provides strategic direction and oversight of the corporation. Directors must have a strong knowledge of business issues and corporate governance and be committed to working collaboratively as part of a diverse team. Prior board experience in the private public or community sector would be beneficial.

The Board is looking for one (1) director who will complement the knowledge skills and experience of the existing directors on the Board. Suitable candidates will be senior business executives with:

• Integrity self-awareness and sound judgement
• Independence no direct or indirect conflict of interest with the business of the
• corporation
• Effective communication skills
• Demonstrable teamwork and open-minded
• Financial acumen
• Industry knowledge (energy sector) understands the electricity industry in Ontario and the regulatory framework set by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

Preference will be given to those with experience in the energy sector (regulated and non-regulated) and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Investing Regulatory and Public Policy Risk Management Innovation & Technology.
