OnActuate is a global information technology and consulting firm and Dayforce partner. To support our growing HCM function, we are seeking a senior HR / payroll consultant with strong solution implementation and project management experience.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients and our solution partners to define HR requirements in their businesses and ensure that OnActuate solutions are implemented effectively.
Our ideal candidate is experienced in HR and Payroll implementation in Dayforce. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with clients to bring the value of Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to their organizations and be at the forefront of Human Resource Capital Management (HCM).
This is a client-facing role that will require occasional travel to client sites as well as in support of business development activities and at industry events.
Essential to this role is the ability to work in partnership with our partners, clients, and technical team, to plan and execute successful HCM solution implementations.

Responsibilities :
- Play a lead functional role in HCM and Payroll implementation work which will include partner led and / or staffed projects
- Working directly with our customers to understand their needs and create collaborative solutions
- Work with our internal teams to enhance current delivery procedures
- Work with our internal sales, technical, and delivery teams to deliver on client implementation goals
- Assist marketing with interviewing customers and work with internal stakeholders to bring together multiple perspectives to record customer success stories
- Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring the project to a successful live status
- Technical and functional requirements gathering
- Provide ongoing client support and training
- Show alignment with OnActuate's core values
- Travel as required
Experience & Qualifications
- Dayforce implementation experience is essential to success in this role
- Experience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment including experience with HCM / HRIS Systems
- Bachelor's degree, certificate, and / or 7 years of applicable experience, preferred (HR, payroll, or general business)
- In-depth knowledge of HR and Payroll functions in the public sector is an asset
- Ability to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage priorities
- Excellent organization, communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to lead and facilitate customer workshops and sessions
- Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
- PMP certification is an asset, but not required
