Commercial Concrete Forming Foreman Napanee, On Salary 85-120k depending upon experience.Benefits RRSP, Life Insurance, Health Benefits, Company Vehicle Job Summary Our customer is in search of a foreman specializing in commercial concrete forming.
You will play a key role in supporting our team in the execution of new commercial construction projects in and around the Napanee area.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial concrete forming. Duties and Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, participate and effective plan for construction schedule
- responsible for enforcing all project quality control
- responsible for enforcing all safety initiatives and workplace compliance
- direct and monitor all commercial projects to ensure strict adherence of contractual documents, plans and procedures and company practices
- problem solving for conflicts that may arise
- troubleshooting to fix any construction issues that may arise
- effectively communicate with team members, the general contractor and sub trades, contractors
- effectively lead a team of 10-20 employees
- place and pour concrete
- finishing concrete
Requirements and Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of commercial concrete forming experience
- Knowledge of the Ontario building code
- knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials
- ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Driver’s license
- A great attitude and a team player mentality
