We’re currently hiring for the position of Database Developer with Java Experience and are looking for talented professionals who are passionate about this field. If you have relevant experience, we’d love to hear from you. Job Title : Database Developer with Java Experience Type : Contract Location : Remote in Canada Job Description :

Database Engineer
The requirement is for Database developers with Java knowledge preferred

Database Development :

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Create and maintain relational database schemas, optimizing table structures

Ensure data integrity and consistency through appropriate data modeling techniques.

Implement and maintain database security measures.

Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functions

Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.

Integrate data from various sources into a unified database environment.

Java Development :

Analysis, design and development of Java-based applications

High level and detailed application designs

Writing well designed, testable and efficient code ensuring code quality

Completing unit testing and supporting integration testing, End to End testing and UAT

Common :

Follow change management process

Work closely with project stakeholders to understand their data requirements, provide technical guidance and support.

Working cooperatively in a cross functional team environment

Experience in agile methodologies and ceremonies.

Technical competences required

Database Development :

Strong understanding of database concepts, data modelling, and database technologies.

Experience with any relational database is good (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)

Advanced skills in writing, debugging and optimizing SQL queries

Experience in data modelling techniques and database design principles

Experience in identifying and resolving database performance issues

Knowledge of AWS cloud platform

Java Development :

Extensive experience in Java Development

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles

Proficiency in Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate

Knowledge in technologies - React, REST

Experience Required :

5 & Above
