Transport Driver

Located in Airdrie, Alberta , OPENLANE Calgary is one of OPENLANE Canada's 14 wholesale vehicle auctions that are located across Canada, and the employer of choice in the Canadian automotive remarketing industry.

OPENLANE Calgary has opportunities for Casual, Part-Time Transport Drivers, working up to 24 hours per week . The ideal candidate is a well-organized team player with a clean Driver's Abstract.

Familiarity with computers and mobile technology is required . If you love to drive, and thrive in a fast paced environment, this may be the right job for you!

Responsibilities

Drive vehicles to and from the auction. Drivers are required to report to OPENLANE in the morning and travel in a van with a lead driver to various dealerships to pick-up vehicles and deliver them to the auction.

Represent the auction in a professional and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service

Must be safety conscious and ensure that vehicle is road-worthy by checking tires, fuel, lights, signals & brakes

Accurately complete relevant paperwork. Maintain contact with customers to ensure smooth transition of vehicle pick-ups and delivery.

Educational / Experience Requirements

Valid driver's license required

Driver abstract required

Must be able to work flexible hours and days of week

Must be willing to take out of town trips

Ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles

Basic computer skills and familiar with mobile technology

Must be a reliable team player

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills

Highly organized and detail oriented team player

Criminal Record Check cleared by OPENLANE is mandatory.
