Shop Service Writer

Moser Landscape Group is looking for a service writer to lead and support our service shop team.

Are you a seasoned 310S/310T Technician with a passion for leadership?

Moser Landscape Group Inc. is a full service landscape construction, maintenance, and snow removal company serving the needs of Southwestern Ontario and the Waterloo Region since 1983. With our wide variety of equipment, we have the flexibility to work on day-to-day projects as well as handling unique and specialized situations.

What Youll Do:

• Assist and open work orders as directed by the Service Manger and maintain control until closed.
• Dispatch repair work and monitor progress, ensuring uptime expectations are met.
• Maintain the service filing and records.
• Assist with processing warranty and/or product improvement claims.
• Assist in diagnostics and repairs when needed, especially on complex jobs or when mentoring junior team members.
• Collaborate with service team to drive effective communication and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in providing performance feedback for service technicians and staff to the Service Manager.
• Assists in all aspects of the Service Department.
• Maintains accessories and supplies and prepares replacement orders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

What You Bring:

• 310S/310T License, an asset
• Experience as a Service Technician.
• Provenleadership experience in a heavy-duty truck repair environment.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical expertise
  
• A commitment to quality, safety, and delivering work on time.
• Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
