We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer who would work closely with the Engineering and Product teams. • Position Overview :
• We are looking for an innovative individual for the role of Quality Assurance Engineer to successfully deliver a highly complex SaaS based Application development, deployment, and customer migration project. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the successful candidate will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.
• Position Summary :
• Focus on building a performance testing architecture & performance testing the cloud based microservices and Point of Sale application.
• Test and try to break the next generation Volanté product that runs on the latest technologies using advanced testing techniques.
• Execute test cases manually and using automation scripts with continuous integration tools such as TeamCity, Xray and analyze test results.
• Attend Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, refinement, planning, and retrospective sessions.
• Have an exploratory mindset while testing and work with other teams to resolve them.
• Qualifications :
• Preferably 3-8 years of professional experience in Performance testing software systems that run on java microservices. Experience in API & UI Automation is a plus.
• Completed a degree or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar streams.
• Knowledge of software and / or testing methodologies.
• Good programming skills (Java, C, C++, JavaScript, or similar)
• Experience with data structures or algorithms gathered from inside or outside of school or work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Available to work full time at our office in North York as well as flexible to work from home.
