BI/Home Health OT- Various Locations Across BC

Position Details

This position will appeal to OTs seeking a diverse community-based practice serving clients across the rehabilitation continuum. Duties include:

• Hospital discharge planning and assessments
• Cognitive assessments & rehab to increase client independence
• Graduated activity plans to increase home/community functioning
• Development & implementation of community integration plans
• Case management to facilitate client access to other health services
• Development and supervision of rehab assistant plans
• Liaising with funders, family and healthcare team

Qualifications

• Member of COTBC or eligible for registration
• Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Aptitude for negotiation & consensus building
• Experience working with insurance fee payers is an asset
• Experience working with clients with TBI is an asset
