Parttime position available : Sat / Sun 1200-0000

The Warehouse Entrance Guard is responsible for monitoring and controlling employee and visitor access to the warehouse floor. This position ensures that only authorized personnel enter secured work areas verifies identification and enforces all site safety and security protocols. The role requires strong attention to detail professionalism and consistent communication with warehouse management and other security staff.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the warehouse floor for employees visitors and contractors.

Verify ID badges and ensure proper sign-in / sign-out procedures.

Enforce personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety requirements before entry.

Maintain logs of personnel entering and exiting the warehouse area.

Conduct bag checks or inspections when required.

Respond to unauthorized access or security concerns promptly.

Maintain clear communication with the control room main entrance and shift manager.

Prepare and submit accurate incident and activity reports.

Qualifications

Valid Security Guard License.

Logistics Experience would be an asset.

Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.

Ability to remain alert and courteous during long periods of post duty.

Experience in warehouse industrial or logistics settings preferred.

Knowledge of access control and visitor management procedures.v
