Senior Financial Analyst
Senior Financial Analyst : 9-12 month contractStatus : Regular, Full-TimeOn Site, Ottawa ONResponsibilities :
- Regular tracking, reporting and analysis of program & non program reporting
- Utilize systems including TM1 and QAD (system with detailed transactions) to analyze actuals and investigate variances
- Partner with the Operations finance team to provide critical financial perspective and insight on material / cartridge / other cost charged to R&D.
- Assist in building deck & consolidation for rLBE3 review & OEM / long term forecasting
- Analyzing Category wise expenditures at a GL & cost center level against budgets and providing feedback on the key variances.
- Prepare analytic models to perform ad-hoc analysis to provide aboard perspective on financial impact .
- Building relationships with other departments to acquire data and knowledge for required analysis.
- Identify improvement areas and actively work with Finance and IT to gain efficiency
- Preparing accruals and journal entries for period end and year end.
- Support on any additional projects and ad hoc analysis.
Experience / Skills :
- years experience working in Financial Planning and Analysis & Financial Consolidation of complex / large data sets
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Excel, PowerPoint, IT Systems
- Self-reliance
- Adaptability
- Someone who can join the team and effect real change and improvement
