Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst : 9-12 month contractStatus : Regular, Full-TimeOn Site, Ottawa ONResponsibilities :

• Regular tracking, reporting and analysis of program & non program reporting
• Utilize systems including TM1 and QAD (system with detailed transactions) to analyze actuals and investigate variances
• Partner with the Operations finance team to provide critical financial perspective and insight on material / cartridge / other cost charged to R&D.
• Assist in building deck & consolidation for rLBE3 review & OEM / long term forecasting
• Analyzing Category wise expenditures at a GL & cost center level against budgets and providing feedback on the key variances.
• Prepare analytic models to perform ad-hoc analysis to provide aboard perspective on financial impact .
• Building relationships with other departments to acquire data and knowledge for required analysis.
• Identify improvement areas and actively work with Finance and IT to gain efficiency
• Preparing accruals and journal entries for period end and year end.
• Support on any additional projects and ad hoc analysis.

Experience / Skills :

• years experience working in Financial Planning and Analysis & Financial Consolidation of complex / large data sets
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Excel, PowerPoint, IT Systems
• Self-reliance
• Adaptability
• Someone who can join the team and effect real change and improvement
