Job descriptionPrepare and manage monthly intercompany transactions between the Corporation and the Foundation Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency Work closely with various departments to assist in the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts Upload budget information to accounting system for tracking and analysis Collaborate on the design and documentation of finance processes and procedures within the Finance department and across the entire corporation Review and provide input on formal and informal internal control processes and documentation to enhance efficiency and compliance Finance experience in Food & Beverage within the hotel industry CPA designation or pursuing / completion in 2024 is required Bilingual, English and French is a very strong asset BSc degree in Finance or Accounting Ability to generate new ideas and experience working with senior level management
About the Opportunity
Our Ottawa based client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to help guide reporting, audit and budgeting process within their Food and Beverage division. This is a contract opportunity for 6 months but highly likely to extend or go permanent.
Duties include but are not limited to :
1. Assisting in the Preparation of Financial Statements :
- Collaborate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Create cash flow reports to be shared with internal departments, the CEO, and the Board of Trustees
