Job descriptionYou can demonstrate experience in at least 7 years of Oracle database administration, including setup, installation, configuration, tuning, query optimization, monitoring, troubleshooting, and backup / recovery. You have hands-on experience with MSSQL, Oracle, and Azure (IaaS, PaaS), including data migration from Oracle to Azure. You take ownership of technical resolutions for production incidents, communicate complex technical issues clearly to stakeholders, and comply with CIBC’s change control and database security policies. Your responsibilities include analyzing recurring incidents for service improvements, providing on-call support, and participating in BAU operations, scheduled disaster recovery, and root cause analysis of critical incidents, consistently demonstrating critical thinking in database maintenance and issue resolution.
