Associate, Maintenance (Facilities Technician)
The Associate, Maintenance performs general light duty maintenance and housekeeping to ensure high standards of appearance (internal and external) and health and safety.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following :
- Regular and daily inspections of the store
- Able to read and interpret blueprints (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural)
- Past experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems
- Building repairs such as minor drywall, painting, electrical and plumbing
- Report all problems or major repairs to Facility Manager / Ops Manager
- Experience with fire systems and security fob systems
- Building Automation Systems experience in making adjustments
- Conveyor systems and experience with operating / adjusting
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning
- Light bulb and or ballast replacement
The ideal candidate :
- Basic English and Math
- 3-5 years of maintenance or superintendent experience
- Physical stamina (and strength, where required)
