Position Summary:

The Ob/Gyn Sonographer Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations to aid in patient care and diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations for radiologists, gynecologists, and other departments.
• Produce high-quality images for treating and diagnosing patients.
• Perform pelvic and endo-vaginal ultrasounds.
• Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
• Utilize ultrasound equipment effectively, including adjusting machine parameters and optimizing images.
• Obtain measurements, M-mode studies, Color Doppler, and Spectral Doppler information.
• Review diagnostic ultrasound image quality.
• Maintain a sterilized and disinfected environment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and nurses about findings and patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Current registration with CMRITO.
• Proven proficiency in OB/GYN sonography, including pelvic and endo-vaginal ultrasounds.
• Strong knowledge of female reproductive anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
