Our team is expanding, and we’re looking for a dedicated Estimator/Project Manger to join us in managing our growing portfolio of projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and managing painting of construction projects from initial tender through to completion. You’ll coordinate with clients, team members, and subcontractors to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and interpret building drawings, specifications, and project documents for accurate estimating.

- Prepare competitive and detailed tenders and project budgets.

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, goals, and timelines.

- Schedule and coordinate on-site activities, including crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries.

- Track project progress and address any issues to maintain timelines and quality standards.

- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and manage expectations.

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

- Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

- Assist with purchasing materials and securing necessary equipment or subcontractors.

Qualifications

- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in construction estimating/budgeting, project management, or project coordination.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Project Management.

Skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Building Connected or equivalent).

- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work

Compensation: 36-38 CAD/hour
