Role: MQ Developer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)Duration: Long TermSummary:Responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting IBM MQ environments to ensure secure and reliable message communication between applications.Key Responsibilities:• Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ.• Monitor queues, channels, and message flows.• Troubleshoot MQ-related issues and ensure high availability.• Perform MQ security setup and access management.• Handle performance tuning, patches, and upgrades.• Coordinate with application teams for deployments and integration support.• Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness.Skills Required:• Good understanding of IBM MQ architecture.• Experience with MQ objects (queues, channels, listeners).• Strong troubleshooting skills.• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/PowerShell).• Familiarity with Linux/Unix or Windows environments.
