Job description
Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Fullstack Java Developer to join their innovative team. As a Fullstack Java Developer, you will be part of the Software Development department supporting multiple project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Fullstack Java Developer Location: 2 days on site a week Downtown Toronto. What's the Job? Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Angular technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components to enhance user experience. Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure application reliability. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes. What's Needed? Advanced proficiency in Java (11/17), Spring Boot, and Spring Framework. Extensive experience with Angular (version 13 and up) and web application development. Strong knowledge of SQL databases and RESTful API design and integration. Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development lifecycle, DevOps, and security best practices. Experience working within Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
