The Opportunity

You’re a builder of markets, of teams, and of broker partnerships. As Director, Regional Sales, you’ll own growth for your assigned region by pairing hands‑on business development with leadership that elevates our brokerage channel. You’ll manage key Mortgage Broker relationships, hit personal sales targets, and coach Business Development Managers (BDMs) to deliver consistent, outstanding performance across your territory. Reporting to the VP, National Sales, you’ll be a visible market leader who strengthens Bridgewater Bank’s brand and drives sustainable revenue.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive Regional Sales Growth & Strategy: Lead and execute regional sales plans to achieve production, growth, and profitability targets. Identify market opportunities, monitor performance and trends, and adjust tactics to keep the region on track. Provide insight into product enhancements based on broker and market feedback.
  • Broker Relationships & Personal Production: Personally manage a portfolio of Mortgage Broker relationships, deliver timely, solution‑based service, and meet individual sales targets. Collaborate closely with Underwriting to balance speed and service with appropriate risk standards. Represent Bridgewater at industry events to enhance visibility and trust.
  • Coach Regional BDMs: Mentor and support BDMs to strengthen sales effectiveness and deepen broker relationships. Role‑model a high‑performance, collaborative sales culture and provide on‑the‑ground support at key events to intentionally grow the business.
  • Elevate Broker Sales Experience: Champion process improvements, clear communication, and a consistent, professional brand presence aligned with Bridgewater Bank values. Partner with Marketing to share regional insights and support value‑based initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Post‑secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 8–10 years progressive sales/business development experience within the residential mortgage industry.
  • 3–5 years leading or coaching sales professionals.
  • Knowledge of consumer credit and mortgage products, and the broker channel.
  • Proven relationship‑building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; strong organization and strategic/analytical thinking; able to manage competing priorities and achieve targets.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
