The position requires deep expertise in SQL Server, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric to facilitate seamless data integration, advanced transformation, and comprehensive governance. The incumbent ensures that all technical specifications align with core business requirements, while also fostering innovation through the adoption of modern platforms and frameworks. Operating within a collaborative, agile team environment, this position is integral to delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing data architectures that drive organizational objectives.ResponsibilitiesDesigning and developing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric Notebooks (PySpark)Building and optimizing data models, creating insightful reports, and managing interactive dashboardsCollaborating with stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver tailored, data-driven solutionsMonitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing performance of data pipelines and workflows across platformsEnsuring data security, privacy, and compliance with organizational and regulatory policiesDocumenting data pipelines, workflows, tables, and analytical processes for transparency and maintainabilityQualificationsInformation Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentFour to five years of experience with designing and deploying Azure solutions, including coding and infrastructure developmentProven ability to work collaboratively across technical teams and communicate with diverse stakeholder groupsProficient in business analysis, including documentation and technical specificationsWork arrangementsThe OMA has moved to a permanent hybrid work environment.
