Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist adept at using both CNC and manual machines for the precision manufacturing of parts according to provided drawings.
The role involves diverse tasks, including assembly and the use of hand tools. The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with team members to ensure quality and efficiency in all stages of production.
- Safety : Prioritize safety and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Efficiency : Produce parts efficiently while meeting required tolerances.
- Communication : Effectively communicate with team members and leadership.
- Maintenance : Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Setup and Machining : Use drawings or sample parts for setup and programming.
- Lifting and Positioning : Manually handle workpieces, fixtures, and vices.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Proficient in CNC machining, including mills and lathes.
- Measurement Skills : Ability to use micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
- Adaptability : Comfortable with various tasks and machines within the manufacturing environment.
- CAM Experience : Familiarity with CAM programming (Mastercam preferred).
- Precision : Calculate basic dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and instruments.
- Quality Focus : Maintain high standards for part quality.
