Reporting to the Renewable Manager, the Project Coordinator provides day-to-day coordination support to active renewable energy projects. This role is viewed as an entry to early-career position within the project team and plays a critical role in supporting RFIs, project documentation, schedule updates, and general project coordination activities. The Project Coordinator works closely with construction, engineering, and project controls teams to ensure information is tracked, organized, and communicated accurately.
What You'll Do Here:
- Coordinate and track Requests for Information (RFIs) between construction, engineering, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, drawings, and records in accordance with project requirements.
- Set up and maintain project folders, document registers, and trackers.
- Support basic project scheduling activities including updates, progress tracking, and coordination with the project team.
- Ensure current drawings and documents are issued, filed, and communicated correctly.
- Assist with meeting coordination including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Support change management processes by tracking documentation related to change notices and change orders.
- Assist with preparation of closeout documentation including O&M manuals and quality records.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Project Manager and project team as required.
- Adhere to all Aecon workplace policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a project coordination or project support role within construction, industrial, or energy-related projects.
- Exposure to RFIs, project documentation, and coordination processes on construction projects.
- Ability to support scheduling activities and understand basic project timelines and milestones.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and document control.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
- Comfortable working in both office and site environments.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel and Word; experience with project management or document control systems is an asset.
- Eager to learn and develop within a project-based environment.

Reason for Vacancy: New
The expected pay range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 per year.
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
