Job Summary
As a Production Chef, you will be responsible for :
- Coordinating and preparing a large volume of meals daily following several different menus and concepts
- Ensuring appropriate portions and presentation
- Planning production, delegating tasks, and managing kitchen staff
- Controlling and recycling surplus production
- Assisting with assessment of food requirements according to the menu and inventory, ordering the necessary commodities according to operational standards
- Completing production sheets and / or register
- Controlling the quality of commodities as soon as they arrive and rotating the stock
- Placing orders
- Adhering to the budget
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards
- Assisting with service provision as needed
Qualifications :
- Degree or diploma in culinary management
- 3 years of foodservice or related management experience in a high volume, food production environment
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Solid knowledge of hygiene and occupational health and safety standards
- Customer service oriented with strong communication skills
