About the role
As a Business Advisor II, Business Practices Insights & Analytics you will be responsible to update, validate and distribute reports to management on a regular basis, participate in various analyses and participate in operational projects as assigned. You will assess our protocols and process to make improvement recommendations. This role will be working directly with our Operational teams, Claims Data Analytics Team, and closely with Claims Management.
What you’ll do here :
Analyze reports, identify trends in data and provide commentaries where applicable.
Assess and recommend improvement to current processes and protocols.
Leverage your technical skillset to propose innovative solutions to solve operational problems, including but not limited to the creation of simple tools, automation of insights, optimize information management within the operations.
Create, automate and maintain reports and present recommendations to management in a clear and concise format.
Support projects across the operation to enhance efficiency, improve customer service, and reduce leakage.
What you bring to the table :
University Degree, College Diploma or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
3 years or more of relevant experience within P&C claims insurance.
Experience with programming language(s) and data management (SAS, SQL, Python, VBA, PowerApps)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite
Experience with developing business intelligence is considered a strong asset
Strong ability to think critically, adaptable, analytical, and highly innovative
Self-driven, autonomous and solution-oriented
Ability to communicate technical analyses in a clear, concise way
Desirable competencies : adaptability, innovative, analytical, decision making, critical thinking, clear communication, planning and organizing, team oriented.
No Canadian work experience required but must have authorization to work in Canada.
