We’re looking for a dedicated Purchasing Manager to help lead and scale our procurement strategy.

Responsibilities :

As the Purchasing Manager for Freshslice, you will :

  • Foster strong partnerships with suppliers to secure a reliable supply chain, while ensuring adherence to Freshslice’s purchasing policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet project demands, optimizing our procurement processes to achieve business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify sourcing opportunities and negotiate favorable terms to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership.
  • Maintain positive relationships with existing suppliers, encouraging their commitment to Freshslice’s long-term success.
  • Assist in obtaining and evaluating quotes to fulfill equipment and materials requirements, ensuring compliance with project budgets and timelines.
  • Expedite critical items when necessary to ensure timely availability of goods, minimizing project delays.
  • Work alongside other purchasing and operations staff to support departmental goals and mentor junior team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within the kitchen equipment or smallwares sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to present information clearly, work well with cross-functional teams, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills for effective problem-solving.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive attitude towards achieving departmental and company goals, both independently and within a team.

Bonuses :

Pay : $80,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
