Assistant Controller

Position Type Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid Remote

Location Primarily based on Montreal’s South Shore at Solar Uniquartier in Brossard, conveniently located approximately 5 minutes from the Samuel‑De Champlain Bridge and near the junction of Highways 10, 15 South, and 30.

Occasional Very occasional travel may be required to Saint‑Patrice‑de‑Sherrington, also located on Montreal’s South Shore, approximately 30 minutes from the Samuel‑De Champlain Bridge and close to Highways 10, 15 South, and 30.

Job Description Reporting to the Financial Controller – Manufacturing Operations, you will actively contribute to the organization’s financial processes and participate in various projects aimed at improving and optimizing accounting practices. You will be involved in different stages of the accounting cycle, including monthly closings, financial analysis, balance sheet account monitoring, and operational support, within a context of growth and technological transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the monthly closing process and month‑end financial analyses.
• Prepare journal entries and import data into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Analyze, reconcile, and monitor various balance sheet accounts.
• Produce, analyze, and maintain various accounting and financial reports in Excel to support operations.
• Collaborate with the team during the annual audit process.
• Participate in the budgeting process and related analyses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and support the team in cross‑functional initiatives.
