Role Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and support enterprise-scale DevSecOps pipelines. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers and stakeholders to learn, maintain, and enhance our existing CI/CD and security automation pipelines.
This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with hands-on experience in Python, GitHub Actions, and cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP) who is eager to grow their DevSecOps skill set in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and support the current implementation of enterprise DevSecOps pipelines
- Contribute to the enhancement, optimization, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for build, test, security scanning, and deployment
- Write and maintain Python scripts for automation, tooling, and pipeline integration
- Support incident resolution, bug fixes, and operational issues related to pipelines
- Respond to user queries and support requests from development and engineering teams
- Assist with DevSecOps best practices, including secure code scanning, dependency management, and policy enforcement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve pipeline reliability, performance, and security
- Document pipeline changes, processes, and operational runbooks
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles
- Strong working experience with Python
- Practical experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms:
- Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts such as:
- Secure CI/CD
- Static and dynamic security scanning
- Secrets management
- Experience troubleshooting pipeline failures and operational issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to support internal users
- Willingness and ability to learn on the job in a fast-paced enterprise environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar)
- Familiarity with security tools (SAST, SCA, DAST, secret scanning)
- Experience supporting large-scale or enterprise pipelines
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, or observability tools
