Position Title

Underground Mining Engineer Consultant – Sudbury or Toronto, ON

Overview

SRK Consulting is a global independent consulting firm that provides integrated services to the mining and metals sector.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and focused consulting advice on exploration and mining projects for North American and international clients.
Contribute to technical studies, due diligence, operational assistance, and project management.
Develop and maintain a client network in collaboration with the Ontario mining team.
Continuously develop technical skills and industry knowledge to support the SRK Ontario team.

Essential Requirements

Minimum of an undergraduate degree in mining engineering or a related field.

Up to 5 years of practical operational and / or mining experience in a variety of situations.

Proficiency in Deswik, Studio 5DP or related software.

Knowledge of the main aspects of mineral projects to identify study risks and opportunities.

Demonstrated project and self‑management skills.

Ability to independently or as part of a team complete multiple work assignments in a dynamic environment.

Highly effective written and oral communication skills.

Desired Requirements

Fluency in both English and French.
