The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using Core mainframe technologies to support business requirements.
Must Have Skills
- 10+ years of hands-on Mainframe application development experience in large enterprise or financial services environments
- 10+ years of experience with core mainframe technologies : Cobol, CICS, IMS DB / DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, MQ
- 10+ years of working knowledge of MVS, TSO / ISPF, VM, and mainframe batch processing
- 8+ years of experience with SQL, SORT utilities, IBM mainframe utilities, and scheduling tools such as Control-M or CA-Jobtrac
- 8+ years of experience with change management, debugging and productivity tools such as CHANGEMAN, XPEDITER, INTERTEST, FILEAID, FILEAID / DB2, and related utilities.
- 5+ years prior experience in technical leadership or team lead roles
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and successfully deploying large-scale projects from end to end.
- Hands-on experience in following iterative and agile SDLC.
