Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Sr. Director, Corporate Finance. As part of the management team, the Sr. Director, Corporate Finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, and communication skills. This may be the role for you if you are an experienced Sr. Director, Corporate Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Guide the strategic direction of the operational accounting team

- Lead transformation activities relating to department processes and procedures and suggest improvements

- Conduct final sign off of financial reporting packages sent to parent company

- Oversee tax and treasury functions, and suggest any opportunities for improvement

- Decide on benchmarks for comparing the operating and financial performance

- Manage the operating procedures of the department

- Hire and train employees, especially finance staff, and manage retention

- Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

Job Requirements:

- 10+ years of corporate, operational accounting experience, ideally in the service industry

- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

- Expert understanding of finance and accounting principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

- Experience with multiple financial and accounting reporting systems

- Expert Microsoft Excel skills required

- MBA or CPA is required

- Very detail oriented and expert analytical thinking skills

- Experience with significant transformation activities or major process improvement initiatives in operational accounting desired
