Location : SPLC, local community centers, parks, and public libraries

Reports to : Program Coordinator

Position Summary

The Health Promotion Program Volunteer Assistant will support outreach and program activities designed to promote the health and well‑being of Korean older adults and seniors. The role involves assisting with both virtual and in‑person sessions, helping with community engagement, and supporting program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support virtual and in‑person sessions (e.g., workshops, trips, and gatherings) for Korean‑speaking seniors
• Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of program activities
• Provide assistance with event setup, registration, and participant coordination
• Conduct outreach to ethno‑cultural communities and faith groups through ethnic media and cultural events
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings and required training sessions
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
