Job Title : Cloud Security Engineer

Location : Toronto (Hybrid – 3 days / week in office)

Employment type : Full-time

About the Role

Seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our growing DevOps & Cloud team. This role will focus on securing both cloud and on-prem environments while supporting ongoing and new initiatives, including cutting-edge AI projects. You’ll work closely with a team of 7–8 engineers across Cloud and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-prem security controls across infrastructure and applications.
• Monitor and secure networks, protocols, and firewalls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Develop automation scripts using AWS Batch or Python to strengthen security operations.
• Partner with DevOps, Cloud, and Engineering teams to embed security best practices.
• Support innovative projects, including AI initiatives, by building security into systems from the start.
