Job Description
At the heart of building mechanics projects, you'll work with our metropolitan area team on a variety of projects in the commercial, residential, industrial, institutional and hospital sectors.
This position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and to be part of a team of engineers, technicians and draftsmen working on stimulating projects.

We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining telecommuting and office work. If you have a bachelor's degree in building services engineering, with at least 5 years' experience, and are a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, we'd love to hear from you!
Main responsibilities
- Actively participate in the design and development of plans and specifications for building mechanical systems (ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, heating and cooling).
- Determine construction costs and quantities
- Conduct surveys and studies, write technical reports
- Participate in the resolution of technical problems
- Write progress reports and contribute to the development of action plans
- Act as a resource person for the team
- Prepare and monitor fee budgets and make recommendations
- Participate in partial supervision of work
- Attend customer meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical building engineering
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (an asset)
- ASP Construction card.
