Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Setup Operator to set up, adjust, and prepare printing presses for production runs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of press machinery, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to ensure high-quality output while minimizing downtime and waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up printing presses according to job specifications, including plates, inks, paper stock, and settings
• Review job tickets and technical specifications to ensure accurate press configuration
• Perform make-ready processes to achieve color accuracy, registration, and print quality
• Adjust press settings during setup to meet quality and production standards
• Conduct test runs and inspect samples to ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Troubleshoot setup-related issues and make necessary mechanical or technical adjustments
• Work closely with press operators, bindery, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and safety standards
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with minor mechanical repairs during setup
