Cascadia Metals is actively seeking candidates for the position of Forklift Operator in our Edmonton branch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys various work and likes to assist wherever needed.
Responsibilities :
- Manual packaging of orders
- Handling of Skid Steer
- Handling overhead bridge crane
- Building skids
- Filling out paperwork for incoming / outgoing material
- Shipping / receiving, loading / unloading trucks.
- General housekeeping
Requirements :
- Able to use large forklift (36k capacity)
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- skid steer experience would be an asset
- Must be able to lift comfortably up to 50 lbs.
- Have a valid forklift license (Preferred)
- Able to read orders and complete essential paperwork
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Strong decision-making & problem-solving skills
