Bjurstrom carpentry is a framing and siding trade contractor serving the Ottawa and surrounding area. Our passion is challenging our skills to tackle unique projects.
Our projects are a mix of custom homes, residential renovations, and some commercial projects.
We are offering a fulltime position in sales and estimating, with full access to our health benefits, and a base salary plus commission.
The work environment will be flexible; allowing for remote work periods between visits to job sites, and potential customers.
What we are looking for is an approachable individual to maintain our current relationships, and build new ones. A good knowledge of construction practices, with a keen interest in new systems and technologies.
5 years of experience would be preferred, with experience in estimating software, CRM use and Microsoft office applications.
Daily tasks would include :
- Phone calls to new and existing customers
- Responsibility for the accuracy of project estimates
- Estimate revisions as needed for scope of work or price changes
- Meeting deadlines for closing dates
- Collecting pricing and quotes from vendors
- Attend site meeting as needed during various phases of a project
What would be the keys to your success? Matching revenue goals, maintaining a good conversion rate on estimates, and accuracy of estimated projects would be the measurements to follow.
