Location : GTA / Ontario

Compensation : Up to $125000 base (commensurate with experience)

Travel will be expected : Ontario Nova Scotia & New Brunswick

About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (.) with 57 years of experience to lead the design coordination and stamping of mechanical systems for residential and mixed-use development projects. This role is hands-on and accountable requiring strong technical judgment code knowledge and experience working through municipal approvals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compliant constructible mechanical designs while coordinating closely with architects structural engineers electrical consultants and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing drainage and fire protection for low- to mid-rise residential and mixed-use projects
• Review sign and stamp mechanical drawings and documents in accordance with provincial regulations
• Ensure designs comply with OBC ASHRAE CSA NFPA and applicable municipal standards
• Prepare and sign Schedule 1 / Schedule B documents as required
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to resolve design and constructability issues
• Respond to municipal plan review comments RFIs and site inquiries
• Provide technical support during construction including site reviews and deficiency resolution
• Assist with energy efficiency measures and sustainability requirements where applicable
• Maintain quality control documentation standards and project schedules
