Adecco, in partnership with our client, is currently hiring a full-time Fleet Services Manager to join their dynamic leadership team in Kitchener, ON. In this role you will be responsible for managing all aspects of fleet operations, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, safety compliance, budgeting, and team leadership. This role ensures that all fleet assets operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively throughout their lifecycle. This role requires strong technical knowledge, proven leadership experience, and the ability to analyze, optimize, and elevate fleet performance.

Responsibilities :
Procurement & Fleet Lifecycle Management
Evaluate divisional vehicles to determine appropriate replacement timelines.Negotiate pricing and service agreements for parts, fluids, tools, and equipment with vendors and manufacturers.Conduct vendor visits, performance assessments, and relationship reviews.Maximize fleet performance by optimizing asset utilization throughout the lifecycle.Develop and maintain best-practice service standards, operating procedures, and department policies.Maintenance Operations
Ensure all company vehicles comply with established maintenance standards, schedules, and safety requirements.Review and validate annual maintenance schedules to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.Obtain repair estimates and issue work orders, purchase orders, and insurance-related service requests.Coordinate outsourced maintenance activities and manage relationships with external garage partners.Oversee vehicle repairs and serve as the main contact for insurance claims and inquiries.Secure and manage warranties for vehicles and components.Oversee the operation and upkeep of Fleet Services garage facilities and physical assets.Financial Management
Collect, analyze, and present fleet performance metrics and KPIs to operational and senior management teams.Manage inventory related to parts, tools, and fleet assets.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for Fleet Services cost centres.Leadership & Supervision
Lead and develop a team of licensed mechanics and administrative support staff.Foster a culture focused on safety, operational excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational standardsQualifications and skills :
Completion of a University or College program or equivalent combination of education and experience.5-7 years of experience in a similar fleet management or maintenance leadership role.Possession of a 310T, 310S, or dual 310S / 310T license preferred; licensed applicants receive priority.Previous experience in a supervisory or management capacity.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate maintenance processes and operational performance.Working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and the National Safety Code.Understanding of purchasing and procurement policies.Clean Criminal Record Check.Valid Ontario G-class driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.ODP certification with A / C experience, or willingness to obtain it.Experience with light-duty diesel and gasoline repairs.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational abilities.Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
