Electrical Designer
Agilus is recruiting for a Snr Electrical Designer in the Oil&Gas Industry in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Electrical Designer is responsible for designing power, lighting, and basic control systems, and coordinating work accordingly while working with all disciplines including client representatives.
Also responsible for reviewing and preparing Certificates of Compliance and other required documentation.
A typical day :
- Prepare Certificates of Compliance for electrical equipment.
- Work with Client representatives on project standards and details
- Design of power, lighting, and basic control systems
- Grounding design. Cable Tray design plan and elevations.
- Heat tracing calculations Cable schedules. Cable System Block diagrams
- Motor control design. Single line diagram development. Review of technical specifications and selection of electrical equipment and material
- Assist the Instrumentation, Electrical, and Controls Department as required.
- Assist other departments with bid preparation
Requirements :
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Technology Program
- Professional affiliation : R.E.T., P.Tech. ASET.
- 7 years of experience in Oil and Gas Electrical Engineering.
