What we expect

Your responsibilities

• Accountable for working safely and ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety policies and legislation
• Follow safe operating procedures and advise supervisor of potential hazards
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying shipment accuracy, completeness and condition
• Inventory control of all boxes, materials, shop supplies and stock
• Packing shipments where some assembly may be required
• Process materials including shearing, circling, tube cutting, etc.
• Prepare vehicle for delivery, verifying all items are securely loaded and protected from the elements and all accompanying paperwork is available
• Operate vehicle to transport material to site & branches.
• Manage remote communications via telephone; follow instructions and provide status updates
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including documenting daily inspections and ensuring safety equipment, straps and paperwork are in place
