Position : Senior Software DeveloperLocation : Toronto, ON (Hybrid)Our client, a leading fintech company, is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their growing team. This role will play a key part in designing and building high-quality, scalable software solutions that power critical systems in Canada's financial sector.In this role, you'll : - Lead the design and development of new applications from the ground up using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.- Contribute to system design discussions (functional and non-functional), ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers.- Research and evaluate new technologies to keep systems modern and efficient.Key requirements : - Strong expertise with Java, Spring / Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.- Experience in system design (scalability, performance, and architecture considerations).- Front end knowledge (Angular).- Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum development; Scrum Master certification is an asset.- Exposure to Cloud (Azure or AWS).- Proven ability to lead development efforts across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Interested?
