Our startup is at the forefront of miniaturized antenna technology, revolutionizing RF communications across various industries. We're seeking a visionary VP of Engineering to lead our technical team and drive innovation in this cutting edge field.

Position Summary

As the VP of Engineering, you will oversee all technical aspects of our miniaturized antenna development, from conceptualization to production. You'll lead a team of skilled RF engineers, guiding projects that push the boundaries of antenna miniaturization while maintaining optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of RF engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of RF systems into final products
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain the company's competitive edge
  • Represent the company's technical capabilities to clients, and partners, and at industry events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience (or combination of experience + education)in RF engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record in miniaturized antenna design and development
  • Strong foundational knowledge of RF system configurations, including RF theory, modeling, signal propagation, antennas, and link budgets
  • Extensive experience in RF / Data Communications or Telecommunication
  • Expertise in designing electrical components, products, and systems for various applications
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze systems and subsystems to enhance performance, add features, solve customer challenges, and / or reduce size and cost
  • Experience in developing system designs, installation plans, characterization and validation strategies, and execution of testing procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of the fundamentals and design considerations of lumped elements for RF and microwave circuits
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovative solutions

  • Experience with RF Filter design and optimization
  • Knowledge of RF Hardware design principles and practice
  • Familiarity with RF Systems Engineering methodologies
  • Background as a Principal Systems Engineer, specifically in RF Subsystem
  • Hands-on experience with RF / Microwave Design Engineering

  • Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour assurer l'intégration transparente des systèmes RF dans le produit final.
  • Se tenir au courant des tendances de l'industrie et des technologies émergentes afin de maintenir l'avantage concurrentiel de l'entreprise.
  • Représenter les capacités techniques de l'entreprise auprès des clients et des partenaires, ainsi qu'à l'occasion d'événements industriels.
  • Favoriser l'amélioration continue des processus, des outils et des méthodologies.

    • Qualifications

  • Licence, maîtrise ou doctorat en électrotechnique, en ingénierie RF ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Plus de 10 ans d'expérience (ou combinaison d'expérience et de formation) en ingénierie RF, dont au moins 5 ans à un poste de direction.
  • Expérience confirmée dans la conception et le développement d'antennes miniaturisées
  • Solides connaissances de base des configurations de systèmes RF, y compris la théorie RF, la modélisation, la propagation des signaux, les antennes et le bilan de liaison.
  • Vaste expérience dans le domaine des communications RF / données ou des télécommunications
  • Expertise dans la conception de composants, de produits et de systèmes électriques pour diverses applications
  • Capacité avérée à analyser les systèmes et sous-systèmes afin d'améliorer les performances, d'ajouter des fonctionnalités, de résoudre les problèmes des clients et / ou de réduire la taille et le coût
  • Expérience dans l'élaboration de conceptions de systèmes, de plans d'installation, de stratégies de caractérisation et de validation, et dans l'exécution de procédures d'essai.
  • Connaissance approfondie des principes fondamentaux et des considérations relatives à la conception d'éléments forfaitaires pour les circuits RF et hyperfréquences.
  • Excellentes compétences en matière de leadership, de communication et de gestion de projet
  • Solides capacités de résolution de problèmes et passion pour les solutions novatrices.

  • Expérience de la conception et de l'optimisation de filtres RF
  • Connaissance des principes et pratiques de conception de matériel RF
