Job Description
AECOM Buildings + Places , is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position is based out of our Saskatoon office with opportunities for hybrid-work.
AECOM Buildings + Places Canada (B+P Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture, all the building’s engineering disciplines, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects.
Major Responsibilities :
- Key member of the mechanical design team responsible for design and construction administration of various facilities;
- Provide conceptual design at the early stages of the project and develop the concept to high quality detailed design, co-ordinate with all disciplines;
- Design HVAC, Controls, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems;
- Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using standard industry programs (Carrier HAP);
- Perform calculations, conduct design drawing reviews, and field investigations;
- Ensure design conforms with all applicable codes and client standards;
- Write / edit mechanical specifications.
