The Role GrizzlyTrek is seeking one Dozer Operator to join our valued client's team in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

This is a full-time, long-term position on a 14 days on, 7 days off rotation, with an immediate start for the right operator.

You will run crawler dozers on stripping, spreading, road building, and reclamation work in the Fort McMurray region.

This is steady, year-round work with a defined rotation and a long-term project schedule, not a short-term call out.

What You'll Do Operate crawler dozers for stripping, spreading, grading, and reclamation work Push and spread overburden, muskeg, sand, and clay to design grade Build and maintain haul roads, ramps, laydown areas, and berms Cut slopes and finish grade to survey stakes or GPS machine control Support excavator and shovel faces and keep working areas clean and drained Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and equipment logs Perform winter work including snow clearing, frost stripping, and road maintenance Communicate by radio with haul truck, water truck, and ground crews Participate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and field level risk assessments What You Bring Minimum 3 years dozer experience, D8 class or larger preferred for mine work Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation CSTS-2020 or CSTS-09 and Standard First Aid, or willingness to obtain before start Ability to work a 14 days on, 7 days off rotation on 12 hour shifts Ability to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test Comfortable working outdoors in all Alberta weather conditions Strong safety record and willingness to follow all site specific procedures Preferred Qualifications Large dozer experience on D10 or D11 class machines Experience with GPS or machine control grading systems Previous oil sands site experience north of Fort McMurray Common Safety Orientation (CSO) and regional site orientations already in place H2S Alive and Ground Disturbance Level 2 Winter road, ice road, or frost stripping experience Work Environment Active industrial and mine site environment with continuous heavy equipment traffic Outdoor work in extreme cold, heat, dust, and variable ground conditions Full personal protective equipment required at all times, including fire retardant clothing Site access requires pre-access testing and site specific orientation What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Opportunities for overtime based on operational requirements Life insurance: $100,000 employee / $10,000 spouse / $5,000 per child AD&D insurance with critical illness and cancer coverage Extended health care: drugs, hospital, hearing, orthotics, nursing Paramedical services: chiro, physio, massage, mental health (annual coverage) Vision care: glasses, contacts, laser surgery, and exams Dental care: 80% basic ($2,500), 50% major ($2,500), $2,500 ortho for children Travel insurance: up to $5,000,000 per incident (trips up to 90 days) Ongoing training and career development support Apply now at www.grizzlytrekgroup.com Questions?
