Birch Mountain Enterprises LP (BME) is hiring Skilled Labourer for CNRL Albian site. Must have experience with operating Loader, Skid Steer and Forklift. Valid Class 5 required. Compensation and Schedule : Competitive hourly Rates according to experience. 7 days on and 7 days off shift rotation (day and night) Company Health Benefits including a Health Spending Account and Employee Assistance Program Living Allowance for local candidates that are eligible Bussing provided to and from Fort McMurray to site Group Retirements Savings Plan (RSP) Job Summary : Operating from our client site location, this position is physically demanding and involves the service of Washbays, Heavy Duty Mechanic shops and light duty mechanic shops. Skilled Labourers should be physically fit to work in all weather conditions. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience. Duties and Responsibilities : Certified to operate : Loader, Skid Steer, Forklift Spot equipment into position safely. Proper use of specialized P.P.E. while performing daily duties. Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to field level Hazard assessment, Near Miss and Hazard IDs, pre and post trip inspections. Execute daily work instructions received from supervision or management in a timely manner. Complete daily housekeeping / cleaning to ensure maintenance of company image. Maintain the work area and ensure it’s safe and organized. Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures. Clear work areas by removing debris and hazardous materials and assist in waste disposal and recycling activities. Operate high pressure monitor for steam cleaning. Work inside and outside in all weather conditions while wearing full PPE. Working at heights. Working near haul trucks / mining support equipment. Working around chemicals. Complete inspection checklist. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications : Certified to operate Loader, Skid Steer and Forklift Possess a valid Class 5 operator’s license with clean driver’s abstract. Previous site experience an asset. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Able to speak, read and write in English. Clear verbal and written communication skills. CSTS and OSSA, BSO or CSO Certification. Valid WHMIS Certification. Must successfully pass pre-employment screening. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (will be doing a lot of lifting and working outdoors).
